Hunters Education Session 1 A smart hunter is a safe hunter, and this weekend was all about learning how to become an educated hunter. Through book work, practical experience, and live fire our kids began the process of learning what it takes to be a smart hunter. However, in education it is important to make the material and environment welcoming in its means of distribution which is not too challenging in Mother Nature. Therefore, atv’s, Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Warden guest speaker and a trip to a nearby deer blind for a demonstration in proper techniques cemented the weekend’s lessons and built and atmosphere of engaging/fun outdoor education.
