😍Experiential learning occurs when kids have the chance to fully engage with what they are learning. This spring break, our kids had just that opportunity. Thanks to the generosity of numerous sponsors and supporters, they were able to experience a range of real-world scenarios. They learned what it’s like to be detained at a border crossing by US Customs and Border Patrol, how poor choices over spring break can land them in a jail cell and face a judge with the South Padre Island Police Department, and the importance of studying wildlife and protecting ecosystems with the help of the East Foundation. They also gained hands-on experience using ATVs and UTVs safely and responsibly, explored what it means to pursue a career as a US Border Control Agent, and saw firsthand the role of hunting in managing invasive species to protect the environment, thanks to Parajito Ranch. Life is full of opportunities, but first, we must recognize that life itself is an opportunity.
❤️ Thank you all for your continued support!Until next week…
