After a couple of weekends of target practice and hunter’s safety, our fall hunting season opened up with an exotic bang. What’s most important towards a successful hunt? The act itself, the time spent leading up to the act, or the perspectives that steps towards success brings? I’ll leave the answer up to the eye of the beholder. Nonetheless, for this hunt, success came through the experiences shared, every single one of them. Riding around in pitch black spotlighting for hogs, channeling your breath the moments before a trigger squeeze, or quieting the noise of your thoughts in the presence of silence all have the potential to last a lifetime.
Thus, it matters how this time is spent, and we believe it is best served outside. Thank you to Rancho Bellas Rocas and Dury’s Gun shop for providing the tools necessary for this exotic experience! It could not be done without all, it takes a village to raise a child.
